By registering for a class, workshop, or service provided by Jeanna Lurie Yoga/Jeanna Lurie, User/Student agrees to the following Consent & Waiver, and Registration, Refund, and Cancellation Policies:

Consent & Waiver

I understand that Jeanna Lurie Yoga/Jeanna Lurie and their contractors provide yoga/meditation/education and instruction that uses practices to build strength, balance, and flexibility, both mentally and physically, opens and moves energy within the entire body (joints, connective tissue, muscles, energy channels, etc.) and can be an intense and/or vigorous practice. It is understood that the purpose of classes, workshops, and services of Jeanna Lurie Yoga is for education, exercise, relaxation, and support and that it is not intended to diagnose or treat any illness, disease, or any other physical or mental disorder, injury, or condition. I have informed my yoga teacher about my state of health, and I have transmitted to her any recommendations and restrictions on the part of my medical practitioner or therapist insofar as Jeanna Lurie Yoga/Jeanna Lurie and their contractors are concerned.

I agree to release from, waive and discharge all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives now have or hereafter have for damage or losses on account of injury, including permanent disability and death or COVID transmission or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other acts of Jeanna Lurie Yoga/Jeanna Lurie, its contractors, agents, owners, officers, directors, instructors, sponsors, and other participants, their parents, guardian(s), supervisors and instructors, and the owners, lessors, and lessees of the premises, including online, live-stream, and in-person instruction, as a result of my participation in any Jeanna Lurie Yoga activities. I hereby agree not to make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of Jeanna Lurie Yoga/Jeanna Lurie or any of its affiliated organizations or above mentioned parties.

I understand that classes may be recorded for the purpose of teacher training, and/or available to Members for viewing on password-protected Members-only website. I have the option of muting my audio or turning off my camera if I choose. Videos will not be available to the general public.

Registration, Refund, and Cancellation Policies

No refunds. Please be mindful when purchasing.

Group class minimum is four registrations. Session may be canceled if minimum is not met by 5:00pm PT the prior Friday. Students will be notified of cancellation via text and/or email. You may choose whether to apply registration fee to next session or another offering, or to be refunded.

I kindly ask that you DO NOT reserve a space until you are certain you will be attending class. Absolutely no refunds or credit for no-shows.

No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes within a session. Recordings will be available within 72 hours for classes taught via Zoom. Notes will be sent within 72 hours for in-person classes. Kindly call or text: 408-390-1894 if you are unable to make it to class (or expect to be late).

Should an unforeseen medical issue arise prohibiting attendance in a full series, I am happy to add you to a future class or apply credit to a different offering. A medical practitioner’s note will be required.

If you are attending in-person, please arrive 10 minutes early to set up your mat, use the bathroom, and get settled.

Details for each class session including links for online classes and address for in-person classes will be sent by the Friday evening prior to session start date. Please contact me no later than the morning of your class if you do not receive the zoom link or address. I am not available for administrative support starting two hours before and for the duration of class time and will not be held responsible for registration issues at that point.

Private Sessions

A minimum of 24 hours is required for cancellation. No refunds will be issued, but session can be rescheduled without penalty if I am notified at least 24 hours before scheduled start time of appointment. In the rare event that I must cancel, you may reschedule or request a refund within five days of appointment.
