This warm class is appropriate for beginners, intermediate practitioners who would like to deepen their anatomical awareness, office workers with discomfort from long periods of sedentariness, and mothers who are transitioning back to a more vigorous movement after pregnancy. We will use gentle movement to connect body, breath, and mind with an emphasis on proper alignment for health and well being. Classical yoga philosophy will be woven into the practice in a way that is accessible and meaningful to modern life in Silicon Valley. Together, we will find your edge and explore some fun poses that challenge it! Options will be given to challenge intermediate yogis and beginners will be offered modifications to build confidence in their practice. Let go of daily agitations and enjoy the practice of simply and powerfully being.
